2008 RI Equitation Championships

Glen Farm
Portsmouth, RI
Sunday, September 7th, 2008 at 8:00 AM
This year's championship offered lots of excitement. First, there was a threat of Hurricane Hannah remnants
heading our way, and then there was the excitement of returning to Glen Farm, where the championship was held for many
years. Fortunately, Hannah cooperated and the weather was perfect--bright and sunny (but not too hot) with a nice breeze.
The footing in the new sand ring was beautiful, the courses were just right, and the riders were all prepared to do their best.
We're sure next year's championship will be even better!
